The Town of Fairmount Fire Department was first organized in 1892, while a separate township department began in 1951. Now serving as one, this all-volunteer department includes 30 proud members who provide Fire & Rescue protection to more than 3,000 residents and 32 square miles, including the Town of Fairmount and half of Liberty Township.
